The Importance of Expecting

If you raise a infant in zero gravity, you would wind up with a spine that wouldn't work when you got back to earth. Because the spine develops in a gravitational field expecting a gravitational field - this is not a useful posture if you're existing in a world with gravity. Expecting is a very interesting word to use there and I think that is a window into so much of these issues right the body does expect things. You know there's a problem with sleep apnea and crowding of the teeth and all sorts of dental and throat issues because the jaw of children expects to chew hard foods. And it breaks your heart as a parent toknow that you've done this to your child
