The Doom Saying Continued
In the 1970s, we were going to run out of everything and that's why we were all going to die. That coincided with the fact that prices went up massively. But then in the 1980s, we see at the time, inflation relatively subsides. And there was a very interesting pivot in the doom where it's no longer that we've run the earth dry. We're not running the earthdry. There's so much of everything, but there is so much of it that we're going to ruin the earth by consuming so many things.
