Health psychologist Kelly McGonigal believes there's a feel good form of movement meant for everybody. When you contract your muscles in any type of movement, they are secreting chemicals into your bloodstream that are really good for every system of your body. The only way you get these chemicals is by using your muscles and then the scientists called them HOPE molecules because exercise could protect rodents from experiencing depression if severely traumatized.
