What's the Difference Between Character and Development?
For me, it's about character. I talked before about Brian LeHore's phrase of better people make better all blacks. So I think part of our scouting includes assessing character and assessing growth mindset. Are they prepared to try things beyond their skill set? Like I used the analogy of a jigsaw. If you gave them a really simple jigsaw to do or a really difficultjigsaw to do, which jigsaw they're going to pick? And that would tell you a wee bit about them.
