I thought one of the reasons for the long letter is because once you, if you actually sit there and read, like a 20 or 30 page letter, by the time you're finished, you kind of have this cognitive bias. I proby my brain is telling me, oh, i must like this letter then. And so there's kind of a cognitive bias that that makes you go forward, that your brain doesn't want you to yet. Its like a sunken cost fallacy, like your brain doesn’t want you to think that you wasted your time. We push on the pane and really exasperate the pain and pump it up to show them how bad it really is
