I have no scientific backing for this but my theory is that if you're going to do a dirty bulk type thing doing it in the first few years as you're like cementing the initial kind of newbie early intermediate gains seems to me to be the best time. Those that didn't earlier on ended up having better success with it than those that did it later on. Who knows maybe something is actually happening to the connective tissue even at heavier body weights. It would seem like not like you know like hypertrophy rep range could be as high as like 30 reps as long as the effort level is there.
