The Unnerving Truth About Meat Grinders
The meaty dinners kept coming, and I began to wonder a bit about where he was getting it all. After a couple of days it became a little bit on the unnerving side. Occasionally if he was wearing white, I could see small spots or smears of blood just at the edges. It might have been his own. He smiled more as well, and I feel like that might have been the thing that tipped me off the most, that something was up with him. The ship's quartermaster said she'd stocked up on plenty of canned and frozen meats for cook before we set out. Though only he'd been keeping track of what we actually had left.
