The Importance of Hypotonic Fluids in Pulmonary Dema
Pulmonary dema is driven almost exclusively by increased hydrostatic pressure in the pulmonary vasculature. It takes three leaters of d five w to have the same effect as just oneleader of salint on the intra mascular volume. The lungs are built a bit differently from the rest of your tissues, with a few safety factors built in to try to prevent fluid from distributing into the intersticium.
