The Unusual Philosophy of Wittgenstein
I find it very difficult to believe that a good biography of Quine could be written, for example. Many philosophers won't be like that, they'll have compartmentalised aspects of their life. Wittgenstein is an exception in the degree to which he tried to unify his whole life. I sometimes think that future generations will refuse to believe that the name Burton Russell does his next individual or committee. The output is absolutely huge and the biographical challenge there is actually to show that it is the same person.
