When it comes to metabolic adaptation, this is not something that stops weight loss in its tracks. It's not something that guarantees weight regain. And so what we should be trying to do is simply quantify it and account for it. So as you're dieting, it's nice to see how your expenditure is changing,. You can either keep making calory adjustments to accommodate it or extend your weight lost time line to accommodate it.
