The Faith of the Eye Witnesses

The focus of this text is on the believing response of the witnesses to christ's miracle and the believer's eventual resurrection from the dead. Jesus expresses a desire for the witnesses to believe based upon what they have seen, something on calvinism that is a certainty for the elect ones and absolutely impossibility for reprobates. The story of lazarus is one of the most reference proof texts cited by calvinists in defence of this doctrine.
