Bond Investors Don't Believe the Fed Is Going to Succeed
Investors still believe bernake when he says the fed is serious about fighting inflation, and they're going to do whatever it takes. These bond investors don't realize that if the fed did whatever it took, the markets would implode. We'd have a financial crisis worse than two thousand eight. Inflations going to win the fight, and bond investors are going to lose because they are accepting interest rates that do not reflect the reality of how high inflation will be.
