The Metaphor of a Robot

There's times people in the script do not act human. Gemma is like pitching a replacement for parents and one of her team brings up, let's not do that. And she shuts her down says, who the fuck do you think you are? Like there's no it's not even a straw man argument. This is a prototype robot. The movie invites us to they want us to look at them as metaphors. They were specifically trying to create this metaphor. You can see them setting it up in all these scenes. If you're calling attention to it, this is the conversation you have to have the conversation.
