Rico Law and Fannie Willis's Use of the Rico Statute

Melissa Murray: Fannie Willis used a racketeering statute in this indictment. She says it's meant to sort of get at questions of organized criminal syndicates. The Georgia Rico statute carries a five year minimum sentence, which means there could be many opportunities for people to flip and cooperate with the prosecution.
