The Lord's Supper as a Sacrament
Matthew 26, Mark 14, Luke 22 are gospel narratives of Jesus at the Lord's Supper. What does he mean when he says this is my body? Does he literally mean that? Is he speaking symbolically? That's what they're going to wrestle out. And then first Corinthians 11, 24, is that he passes Paul talks about communion or a partaking or sharing in the body of Christ? So those, those raise a few questions for the early church and for reformers in the 16th century.
