Is There a Difference Between Good Arguments and Bad Arguments?
I was a sophomore at Columbia and surrounded by what I felt with irritation, were dumb arguments for, or against the war. In retrospect, it's clear that the bad arguments of annoying anti war college students played a significant role in my eventual support for the war. It's hard to avoid that conclusion when I look at it now. And so I just like really found these people annoying and enjoyed distinguishing myself from them by supporting the thing that they opposed.
