Rose's Run Would Have Been Successful

The movie very strongly implies that the run would have been successful because it happened long enough afterwards. I was barely able to like crush that laughter down inside of me because it was so absurd at every turn. The actress was not a good actress which certainly didn't help but it's like I couldn't stand her and that was this amazing crowning glory for her as a character.
