Is It More Likely That Marcus Brutus Was the First to Join the Conspiracy?
In some sources it is like marcus brutus is one of the last to join the conspiracy. But do you think it's more likely that he was actually probably near the start of the conspiracy, he was one of the members? I think we can't know, because we have appion and dio and plutarch a different accounts. Two of them agree and one of them don't. Brutus needs cassius because cassius is a man of action. He's te man who can get things done. Cassius needs brutus because brutus has a reputation for being great in society. And so these two come together and they start feeling out others through philo discussions.
