Caligula: The Ultimate Movie of Our Time
I always associated not artistically but temporally Caligula with apocalypse now You know because these two movies came out basically the same time Right and by people saying this is the movie that's gonna end all movie. So it seems like an ideal time to do a Movie that's sort of like what if kind of like Donald Trump or in succession? I feel like we're moving into kind of an atmosphere of authoritarianism an atmosphere of yeah of no forgiveness of being Ratted out by someone for having said something or done something. There are no good Roman Emperor It's just by definition of the thing that they stepped into so it's it's an interesting moment.
