Grieving the Death of God

To grieve the death of god requires an intensification of our sense of what god it is that's being lost. Our word god may be unable to fully represent what it points toward. A simple promise can't be believed at face value. The basic context, i think, is lost to be grieved in which the wise can with good conscience simply affirm one representational instance as the adequate knowledge of the universal.
