Faith and hope are not mentioned in second corinthians three, but i would that they are implied in the phrase, beholding the glory of the lord. Jason refers us to second thessalonians, one 11, where paul says, may may god fulfil every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power. In other words, we are back in the realm of god's empowering spirit. We work by trusting god's promise that he is at work in us. Faith beholds the beauty of christ. And beholding him, that way, faith transforms. And thats sanctification.
