You didn't feel confident that ice would be able to investigate themselves. And the corruption commission wasn't useful because you're not alleging corruption. So did you have any other options in a situation like this? The option that everybody then has when you've been er assaulted is to sue, to sue for assault, for damages. That's a very personal remedy.
