The Island of Stable Atoms

Nuclear theorists suggest that if you have the right number of protons and neutrons, there might be an island out there where they can actually be stable. They could last for a very, very long time. But it's just not connected to sertof the range of stable configurations that we know about. We have like, a peninsula jutting out nearly hav the peninsula of stability, and then a gap.
