The Skill Shortage in the Computer Science Industry

The market for working coders is much more competitive than the market for teachers, teaching of course. But with certainly with practical stuff, so data science, web stuff, it's rare that a tenured professor is up to date on them because that's not what they do. And yet that's what students in the real world will jump in and do. That's a whole separate discussion but I think it's economics or whatnot.
