Sitting at the Dock of the Bay
Cropper was impressed by how many ideas their records had. He didn't steal anything directly from the record, but there's a definite resemblance between Windy and sitting on the dock of the bay. Cropper also came up with the middle eight, and here he took inspiration from one unusual source: Ruth Ann Friedman.
