What Are the Characteristics of Iceberg?
There are a number of different table formats available for these lake house style platforms. And as people are trying to evaluate which one they want to go with, I'm curious what you see as the characteristics of iceberg that lead teams to choose it over other options. The performance is really just about how long are we making a human weight? There's a cost angle to it certainly as well, but I really like to focus on the human factor.
Summary
Cloud data warehouses have unlocked a massive amount of innovation and investment in data applications, but they are still inherently limiting. Because of their complete ownership of your data they constrain the possibilities of what data you can store and how it can be used.
