The Importance of Receiving the Word of God

People generally turn to the word of God because they look at their life and say my life is a wreck. James says in our first couple of verses receive the implanted word he does not say work hard at getting rid of sin. When that word goes into your heart then it will drive out sin and you will move toward the righteousness that we desireWe need that because James says wickedness is rampant the word rampant is used of weeds in the Bible wickedness grows like a weed.
