JP and Aileen's Divorce
In 1930, Paul Jr. gets married four times and never settles down with any of them. He's not interested in being a father or settling down; he just wants to run his oil company. His wife coddles him more than her husband does but they don't even blink when he marries another time. When JP is told that the bulk of his dad's estate will go to his mother instead of him, it breaks his heart.
