How to Get Your Hands Up When Asking a Question

Teachers should be careful about how they word their instructions to pupils. If a child struggles to thin, you know, put their hand up to ask a question or say that they need to go to the toilet as a result it can lead to problems. It's important to follow up with them if there is any problem - and make sure your colleagues are involved too. There needs to be some kind of system in place for teachers who don't know each others' names but want to get to know students better.
