The Different Types of Plastic Recycling
The numbers inside the recycling symbol on plastics come from different types of plastic. So number one is PET, that's your soda bottles usually. Number two is high density polyethylene. Number three is PVC. That's like your plastic bags. Number five are polypropylene, which is a lot like bottles, but a little squeezier,. And then number six is polystyrene, which I think is most commonly referred to as styrofoam. Okay. Now we're going to talk about what happens when people throw all their plastic into our recycle bins.
