Apple's new Siri app has a light show that looks garish on big screens. The company is trying to give the service some kind of personality, but it doesn't have a screen. John Sutter: It reminds me of an older Apple that wanted to put these type of sort of dynamic appearance personality into their hardware that is not a screen.
