Figma is probably best positioned to deploy AI tools for design. And I mean, the same as you could say is true with Figma, right? And they just stayed far enough ahead where Adobe couldn't catch up and then it became like a serious competitive threat. That's saying that there won't be like AI specific startups. But I think it's more like the startups that already have some usage and already have some growth and they can react really quickly to the shift and built in the capability. They're going to be the winners as opposed to like startups that have to build AI capability and get the users and you know, build the platform and all of that.

Programming has transitioned from machine code to punch cards, from assembly to high-level languages, and from C to dynamic languages, then to Python. Now, we are heading into the next frontier with artificial intelligence (AI) technology, and today’s guest, Amjad Masad, is one of the leaders designing the future of software engineering.
