The Middle Path: Action Versus Inaction
I want to address the concept of the middle path in terms of action versus inaction. The Talamasca were definitely more observers and therefore not really involved in the world. I feel like there is value in examining that definition of white magic used selfishly or black magic used selflessly as possible iterations on a middle path. People can be faithful in the universe and acquiring wisdom in a way that doesn't benefit anyone, let alone themselves.
