Romans 5 - What Was the Wrath?

In romans, it's through adam that condemnation came. And what jesus did as he reversed that condemnation is no longer the death sentence. In this model, though, romans five can be a problem if you don't notice that the translators have added of god when it says that jesus came to save us from the wrath. Sosoi: If not of god, why do they add that? So wrath is the consequences of sin, which is death.
