The fertile crescent was very much the heart land of the origins of domestication, which is why we call it the cradle of agriculture. Farming of certain species spread westwards across the whole of europe throughout the neolithic. But what about eastwards? If we travel eastwards from the fertile crescent, we first encounter the indus valley. This is generally along the border of modern pacistan and india.
