The Cost of Paying Ransomware
Timothy Stanley: Ransomware is classic APT style movement through a network that just happens to deliver different payload called ransomware. He says if you can cut them off in three to five steps, they don't get to put ransomware in place in a significant way. Stanley: EDR systems must be really supply chain stoppers. That's what EDR should stop. And ultimately, if your EDR is not doing that, it's not an EDR. It's an EPP plus system that's just using a brand to sell more.
