Saturated fats are linked to an increased risk of many chronic diseases. High saturated fat intake in a population is also a really good marker of an oval unhealthy diet. In the us, the majority of the saturated fat we consume comes from ultra process food like pies and process meats. Very little comes from kind of natural sources, like dairy, for example.
