Patterns in Nature

In nature, we can see patterns where things bifurcate or divide into two. And often, these patterns are fractal also - meaning that the patterns are similar at different scales and the little sets of patterns repeat as the scale increases. As kids, you know, we look at those tiny little patterns and we play with them in a small way to learn about how they work for us.
