Irina Ratishinskye's Poems
In 19 91, communist hard liners launched a coup against mihail gorbachof it failed, but gorbachoff resigned a few months later. Someone who lived that experience was the late russian dissident poet irina ratishinskye. She was locked up in a prison cap because of her writing. But in octber 19 86, she was released on the eve of a Soviet nuclear summit between mikhail gobachof and ronald regan.
