How to Write a Book

D&D storytelling skills could be used to write a book. Would you use those skills? I don't know how it works because I don't play the game. The secrets and clues can be subplots as well as can the scenes. And then that makes me wonder when it comes to having a protagonist, an antagonist in a story or whatever you want to call it. It just gives me something, another way of experimenting.
