The Outside Doesn't Matter at All

The outside doesn't really matter at all. That's not what counts. Like, has this place been washed or hasn't it? I'm reminded of an illustration from Donald J. Barnhouse and Michael Horton shared it in his book. In one of his books, he talked about Satan's perfect city. He'd be more than happy to have everybody attending church just as long as we didn't have any proclamation about a man who went down to the belly of the earth for three days for the forgiveness of sinners.
