In your book you talk about the lower level, but also extremely consequential society connections that are also really enriching the remaking of this relationship. So I think a lot of our listeners would be familiar with the visit to China in 1971 by the US table tennis team. But what happens after that in terms of some of these really important types of cultural exchanges that are happening? I mean, as Nixon and Kissinger are trying to open up to China, how do these initial types of people to people, exchanges and visits happen? What's that process like?
