The level of fructos and its immediate precursor, from glucos asorbital were increased four to six fold in the alheimers brain. We think that there's an actual biologic pathway that was originally beneficial that went awry. And we've talked about this before, but frudose appears to have a role in trying to stimulate foraging. So what happens is, when we eat sugar and we make fruit dose, it's helping us forage, but it's doing it by decreasing the glucosuptace in these critical areas.
