Dark matter is the scaffolding of our universe. It doesn't just hold galaxies together and keep stars from flinging apart, it's why galaxies are where they are in the first place. People are looking for dark matter cause our observations tell us is theyre tofind. And there's a lot of evidence that it is there to find.
Most of the matter in the universe is dark matter, an invisible, untouchable, mysterious substance. Scientists don’t know what exactly dark matter is, despite decades of searching. But recently, they got a new clue in the form of an extremely tiny dancer.
