This isn't the 1950s or 1960s, right? We're living in an era where there are more guys throwing 100 miles per hour than ever before. There's a new classification for a pitch called a sweeper. The idea that umpires are getting as many of the calls right as they do is a testament to just how good they really are. But even as good as they are, they're still not robots.
