I think we would have seen the same silencing online. That would be interesting as well. When we elevate when we put people on pedestals based on their race or amount of melanin in their skin, we dehumanize them. So when someone says that black women are immune from conversation, it dehumanizes black women because everyone is capable of the full range of human experience including malice and benevolence. And when we deny these human qualities to one another based on race or disability or class, we are in essence dehumanizing each other.
