The Dispensationalist Perspective on the Bible
By the time I went to college, I probably had a assumed dispensationalist perspective on things still just from my upbringing. And it wasn't until I became a graduate student in history that I really could put categories to a lot of this stuff. Dispensationalists have a really good reputation for thinking theologically. There's a quote in my book from John who credits the dispensational system for producing millions or thousands at least of pastors and missionaries with love of God.
