Shared Laughter and Satisfying Relationships

Laura's study tells us that shared laughter is correlated with satisfying relationships, but it doesn't tell us that it causes them. They had individuals come to the lab thinking that they 're going to be part of a study about first impressions. So we had a chunk of gifts that were really funny and that would often elicit laughter ably, and then another half of giffs that were less funny, that didn't elicit laughter as consistently.
