The prospect of nuclear war is not just one to worry us, it's the one to worry the russians as well. But i don't think there's much at the moment that will allow him to seriously change the course of the war. By escalating with nuclear weapons en he creates a whole new international situation in which he's not going to get a lot of applause. I think the chinese would be very alarmed if he went down that route, for example.
