Are You Setting Your Company Up for Constructive Arguments?

A Strahman argument is one where you intentionally or otherwise mischaracterize someone's actual argument as sort of the worst version of their point. You might say, hey, I want to go to McDonald's because I really like McDonald's. And in doing so have sort of reframed what you're saying in a light that is far less likely to be something that other people want to adopt. It reminds me of the famous Charlie Munger quote, show me the incentive and I'll show you the outcome.
